Olean, Bradford and Salamanca Railway Company

The Olean, Bradford and Salamanca Railway Company was an electric railroad in Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania.

History

The Olean, Bradford and Salamanca Railway Company was formed in 1921 from the reorganization of the Western New York and Pennsylvania Traction Company. Revenue declined over the life of the company which shrank over its history. The Little Valley branch was abandoned on November 14, 1925. Service between Ceres and Bolivar was abandoned in 1926 and on August 31, 1927 all service in New York State ended.
