Electric Railways of the Niagara River Region

This long October 1897 article talks about the facilities, equipment and operation of a number of electric railways operating around Buffalo and Niagara Falls NY. The railroads mentioned include the Buffalo and Niagara Falls Electric Railway, the Buffalo and Williamsville Electric Railway, the Buffalo, Bellevue and Lancaster Railway, the Buffalo, Gardenville and Ebenezer Railway, the Buffalo, Kenmore and Tonawanda Railway, the Buffalo, North Main Street and Tonawanda Electric Railroad, the Buffalo Railway, the Buffalo, Tonawanda and Niagara Falls Electric Railroad, the Crosstown Street Railway, the Buffalo Traction Company, the Hamburg Railway, the Lewiston and Youngstown Frontier Railway, the Niagara Falls and Lewiston Railway, and the Niagara Falls and Suspension Bridge Railway.
