A Wreck on the Erie Near Little
Valley Thursday — No One Injured
Trains from Dunkirk eastward on the Erie via Salamanca found it necessary Thursday to use that part of the B. & S. W. branch between Dayton and Jamestown and the main line between Jamestown and Salamanca in order to reach the latter place as 10 freight cars were derailed and wrecked near Little Valley on the Dunkirk division stopping traffic on the direct line from Dunkirk to Salamanca. Westbound trains were also obliged to make a detour, coming first to Jamestown, then up the B. & S. W. to Dayton and from there along the Dunkirk division to Dunkirk. This state of affairs existed all day Thursday but the wreckage has been cleared away and the usual route is be traversed today.
