Riceville Station Building Will Be Removed

Albany, Feb. 28-The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company has been authorized by the Public Service Commission to remove its station building at Riceville in Cattaraugus County.

The testimony presented at a hearing before the Commission showed that there has been no passenger business at the station since 1932 and that during the years 1938 and 1939, no shipments were forwarded or received, and in view of the fact that an agency station is located within a distance of two miles it was found that public convenience and necessity no longer require continuance of the Riceville station.
