Resort at Hog’s Back

A dispatch from Mayville says:
“It was stated on good authority here recently that the Chautauqua Traction route to Westfield will be over the Portage Road most of the way from Westfield. This will reach the Hog’s Back which may be made an excursion point and also be the shortest as well as the most thickly populated route that could be selected although the grade is not the best.”

President A. N. Broadhead of the Traction Company, was seen by a reporter from the Morning Post and confirmed the foregoing report. “Yes, we will make a summer resort at Hog’s Back,” said Mr. Broadhead, “and build the line from Barcelona on Lake Erie. We will begin operations in the near future, but we have considerable other work ahead of it just at present. “-Jamestown Post.
