Below is an excerpt from the August 16, 1860 issue of The Railroad Record with the report provided by the management of the Williamsport and Elmira Railroad for the year ending March 31st, 1895. The Williamsport and Elmira was one of the predecessors of the Northern Central Railway, which became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad.
