A freight train bound cast struck the Albion work train at Eagle Harbor, on this branch of the Central road, this morning at about 8 o’clock, and there was a bad smash-up. The engineer of the work train was quite badly hurt, and the road was blocked until after noon, causing the noon train to be an hour and three-quarters late.
The engineer of the work train is named BROWN, and he formerly was employed on the work train in this city.
