NAME OF APPLICANT – OLEAN, BRADFORD AND SALAMANCA RAILWAY COMPANY.
NATURE OF APPLICATION – For approval of a declaration of abandonment of a portion of its constructed route known as its “Little Valley Division” in the city of Salamanca, the towns of Salamanca and Little Valley and the village of Little Valley, all in Cattaraugus county, as follows:
Commencing at the point of switch at the junction of Elm and Main streets in the CITY OF SALAMANCA and extending westerly crossing lands formerly owned by the Erie Railroad Company to a point in West State street opposite premises formerly owned by Mary Doty, thence running west along West State street across or in front of premises owned by James Quigley and others including Charles Nies, thence continuing on the north side of said highway and partially upon lands formerly owned by Mary Gaffney and others including Cornelius Weisman, through and upon premises formerly owned by Cornelius Weisman and others including Mrs. Eddy, through the TOWN OF SALAMANCA and continuing in the TOWN OF LITTLE VALLEY across premises formerly owned by C. O. Boutelle and others including G. W. Boyce to the main highway leading from Salamanca to Little Valley, thence crossing said highway and on to lands formerly owned by G. W. Boyce and others including John Button, crossing the Dunkirk division of the Erie Railroad Company, thence across lands formerly owned by Mrs. E. E. Marsh and others including S. M. Niles to the main highway leading from Salamanca to Little Valley, thence along said highway passing in front of premises formerly owned by Sarah E. Fisher and others including Independent Order of Odd Fellows, crossing Little Valley Creek to the end of the track near Rock City Hotel in the VILLAGE OF LITTLE VALLEY.SECTION OF RAILROAD LAW UNDER WHICH APPLICATION IS MADE-184.
NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing on said application will be held by Commissioner Van Namee at the Court House in the city of Hornell on the twenty-third day of October, 1924, at eleven o’. clock A. M., and will be continued on the following day if necessary.By the Commission,
