Official information has been received at the Batavia Post office that the stage mail-service between Batavia and East Bethany will be discontinued on the 30th inst. Beginning December 1st East Bethany will receive its mail from the Lackawanna railroad, an order instituting a mail service on that road between Binghamton and Buffalo having just been issued. Bethany and West Bethany will continue to receive their mail by stage from the Batavia Postoffice.
