The owners of the Jamestown, Chautauqua & Lake Erie steam railroad are practically the same so the owners of the Buffalo & Lake Erie Traction Company line, and these lines will be run in connection and through tickets sold. The cars on the steam road have been fired up in good shape and frequent trains will be run all summer, practically every two hours.
The Chautauqus Lake steamboats are also under the same control. This will enable B. & L. E. patrons to buy tickets to any point on Chautauqua Lake by steam road or by steamboat.
The new schedule went into effect on July 3. Northbound trains will leave Jamestown daily at 7:25, 9:40 and 11 a.m. and 2:05, 3:25 and 7:10 p.m. Trains will leave Westtield daily at 6:25, 9:15 and 11:30 a. m. and 1:05, 4, 5:25 and 7:25
The trains are all fast, making the trip to Westfield, including the out of the way rua to the Pennsylvania depot at Mayville, in an hour and 25 minutes.
Eight large steamers now run each way between Jamestown and Mayville.
A half hourly service will be maintained between Mayville, Chautauqua and Point Chautauqua and an hourly service between Sheldon Hall, Lakewood and Celoron from 7 s.m. until noon and then half hourly to 10:30 p. m.
