FREDONIA, Feb. 4. – (Special). Business was practically at a standstill here all day yesterday because of the storm. The D. & F. trolley line was not opened clear through. All day yesterday the sweeper and teams and gangs of men struggled to open the road but the results of their work were spoiled by the raging blizzard again last night. The malls and z few passengers were carried in steighs. No trains ran over the D. A. V. & P. yesterday. All night Tuesday and nearly all day yesterday a northbound passenger train stood stalled at Fredonia, unable even to get to Dunkirk. The mails are all way behind time. The country roads are well nigh impassible.
