Fast Train on the N. Y., P. & O. R. R.

A new through express train, No. 8, from Chicago to New York, is now running over the N. Y., P. & O. R. R., passing Jamestown at 7:38 a. m. The train stops only at Corry and Jamestown on the eastern division, and makes the trip from Meadville to Salamanca in two hours and 45 minutes. Over the western division of the Erie it makes but one stop between Salamanca and Hornellsville, and that at Cuba to take water, and runs the distance, 81 miles, in one hour and 45 minutes.—Standard.
