Ceres-Shinglehouse Line of O. B. & S. to be sold at Auction

Olean, Feb. 20. – The trolley line of the Olean, Bradford & Salamanca Railway company, between Shinglehouse, Pa, and the Ceres power house, will be sold at auction in the offices of Sheriff L. W. Bartin of McKean county, in Smethport, Pa., Monday afternoon, February 28, according to announcement from the local offices of the company. The line is a part of a separate company leased by the O., B. & S. Service will be discontinued after the sale of the tracks, according to General Manager C. A. Graves.

Arrangements have been made, it was said, to have the gasoline car of the Pittsburgh, Shawmut & Northern railroad carry mail between Olean and Shinglehouse in the future. The line to be sold is four miles long.
