Fire Destroys BR&P Ashford Station
About 11 o’clock Thursday morning the freight house and station of the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg railroad at Ashford were entirely destroyed by fire. Help was sent from Salamanca, but too late to save the building. Source: The Olean [NY] Democrat, 3 May 1895, p. 5, NYS Historic Newspapers.
