The rails on the B. & S. road are laid from Alum Rock to Sandusky and the roadbed is being ballasted and put into fine shape. The big fill at Sandusky is nearing completion, and the bridges at Sandusky and Alum Rock will be put into shape as soon as the iron workers strike is over.
