The Road Purchased and to be Re-opened

An associated press dispatch from Cleveland, Saturday night, gives the following: The railroad running from Brocton, N. Y., to Corry. Pa., and known as the cross-cut, was to-day sold with all the equipment to Wm E. Lewis of this city for $75,000. The original cost of this road was over a million and a quarter dollars. Passenger trains to connect with Mayville, and points on Chautauqua Lake will be run in connection with the Lake Shore Road. The future officers of the road have not been appointed.
