A Fond Farewell

The William street depot will abandoned to-day so far as passenger business is concerned, and all the trains on the Vanderbilt roads and their amicable connections will arrive at and depart from Exchange street. The first train to be run in the city will be the St. Louis express which arrives from Now York at 8 o’clock, and the connecting trains on the Lake Shore and Canada Southern roads will depart for the west a few minutes later. The change will likewise prove a convenience to passengers who come or go over the Erie Railway, as their depot is only a few rods to the east, as well as to the patrons of the Grand Trunk and Great Western, which will run their trains as heretofore.
