La Salle, NY

La Salle, NY was a station on the Erie Railroad‘s Buffalo to Niagara Falls Branch and the New York Central‘s Buffalo to Niagara Falls branch. The two stations faced each other on the north and south sides of their respective tracks.

The street names have changed since 1914. The Griffon Street shown on the map below is now 87th Street, Gombert Street is now 88th Street, and Erie Street is now Frontier Avenue. The area where the tracks used to run is now used by the La Salle Expressway.
