A notice in a December 10, 1895 newspaper about a public hearing by the Lewiston, NY Board of Trustees to consider the application of the Lewiston and Youngstown Frontier Railway to operate over the streets of the village.
It is interesting that the routes described in this notice do not match the routes shown on a 1908 map of the village.
