LOCKPORT, Feb. 4 (Special) The Rochester snowplow, pushed by a heavy hog back engine ripped up tracks and signal wires at the east end of the Central yards yesterday, delaying traffic two hours and causing about $1000 damage. The locomotive left the track and dashed into a semaphore, mowing it down as if it were a blade of grass. The wires operating all the switches and signals on the west end of the yard were tipped loose and broken. Passenger trains were delayed east and west by the accident.
