Water for Clarence Station

Clarence. The West Shore railway is laying pipe to convey water from Millpond, three-quarters of a mile west of Clarence Station, to supply water for passenger and freight trains. Water engines and tubs will be removed from Akron to Millpond and Clarence. The water will be forced from the pond by steam pumps.
