Water Valley is a small village in Erie County just outside of Hamburg, NY. It was a station on the Buffalo and Jamestown Railroad which became the Buffalo and Southwestern Railroad which, in turn, became the Buffalo and Southwestern Branch of the Erie Railroad.
The station was located on the west side of the tracks just south of where South Creek Road crosses the tracks.
