Collins, NY

Collins is a village in southern Erie County and was a station on the Buffalo and Jamestown Railroad. In 1877 the Buffalo and Jamestown became the Buffalo and Southwestern Railroad, which, in turn, became the Buffalo and Southwestern Branch of the Erie Railroad.

In 1910 the Erie Railroad went on a building spree, constructing new passenger and freight stations across the system. The photos below show the new passenger station built in Collins.
