The new owners of the old T. V. Railroad from Attica to Arcade have changed its name to the Buffalo, Attica and Arcade Railroad, will broaden the guage and open up the new line this fall. New iron rails and ties are being used in the construction of this road, and new bridges will be erected, and as soon as the road is finished will be well equipped for the handling of all kinds of traffic. Freight at present is being carried over the narrow gauge as far as Java Center. S. S. Bullis of Olean has purchased the the road, but G. W. Conklin of Bradford, general superintendent and manager, has largely the charge and supervision of the work. It has not as yet been decided as to which line this new road will connect with the W. N. Y. & P., this making a through route trom Attica to the lumber regions of Pennsylvania.
