
The Rochester Branch of the Lehigh Valley Railroad ran north from Rochester Junction, where it connected to the Lehigh Valley Main Line, to Rochester and south from Rochester Junction to Hemlock.
History
Passenger service between Hemlock and Rochester Junction was discontinued 1938 and service between Rochester and Rochester Junction in 1951.
The section of the line from Honeoye Falls to Hemlock was abandoned in 1968. The segment from Rochester Jct. to Honeoye Falls lasted until 1982, when it was abandoned. The section between Rochester and Rochester Junction was transferred to Conrail in 1976 and was abandoned in 1981. The section from River Junction to Mortimer was transferred to Livonia, Avon & Lakeville Railroad.
