Fillmore, NY

FIlmore was a station on the railroad line between Hinsdale to Rochester that was operated by the Buffalo, New York and Philadelphia Railway / Railroad (1882 – 1887), Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad / Railway (1887 to 1900), and Pennsylvania Railroad (1900 to 1963).

An 1886 inspection by the New York State Railroad Commissioners noted that “Houghton, Fillmore, Portage and Cuylerville have new passenger stations of good design, well furnished, and with water closets connecting with the buildings.”
