BATAVIA, Jan. 11. – The body of an old man, frightfully mangled, was found near the Lackawanna station at Alexander yesterday. From papers in his possession it is supposed that he was Peter Johnson, an inmate of the soldiers’ home at Bath, who had been to Buffalo to draw his pension and was stealing a ride home. The remains have been brought here.
