A serious accident in which three people were injured occurred on the Chautauqua traction line last Thursday afternoon. Two heavy traction cars collided head on in the vicinity of the Sportsman’s Club between Victoria and Stow with the result that one of the cars was badly damaged and three persons injured. The injured were: Fred B, Burgeson of Jamestown, the motorman of the baggage car, who was badly bruised about the back and hip; Mrs. Moses, who resides on the Stedman road near Chautauqua, who sustained a fracture of the nose, and Glenn Newman, a lineman of the Traction company, who sustained a bruise on the left hip.
