The Jamestown and Chautauqua Railway was one of a series of railroads that ran along the east side of Chautauqua Lake between Jamestown and Mayville.
History
The Jamestown and Chautauqua Railway was formed on January 1, 1899 following the failure of the Jamestown and Lake Erie Railway. The company lasted a little over three years and on July 1, 1902 it was leased by the newly-formed Jamestown, Chautauqua and Lake Erie Railway.

The only permanent, manned stations on the line were at Jamestown, Bemus Point, Dewittville, Hartfield, the W. N. Y. & P. Junction, and Mayville.
